先日、サトカツゼミ＆WBSワイン会のメンバーで、サッカー日本代表チームの元監督フィリップ・トルシエさんを囲む会を開きました。トルシエ元監彼は、現在ボルドーのサンテミリオンでワイン造りをしていらっしゃいます。

The other day, members of the Satokatsu Seminar and the WBS Wine Club held a gathering with former Japan national soccer team manager Philippe Troussier. He is currently making wine in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux.

サトカツゼミからは元サッカー少年たちが参加し、彼らにとってトルシエさんは憧れのスーパースターのため、サッカー談義に花が咲きました！そしてトルシエさんからワイン造りに対する溢れんばかりの熱い情熱を語っていただき、みんなで彼の大好きな「島人ぬ宝」を合唱して大盛り上がりの一夜になりました。
トルシエさんが語られた、「getting old , getting better」という言葉がとても素敵でした。

From the Satokatsu Zemi, former youth soccer players joined the event, and since Troussier is a superstar they had long admired, the conversation quickly turned into lively soccer talk. He also shared his overflowing passion for winemaking, and the evening reached its peak when everyone joined together to sing his favorite song, “Shimanchu nu Takara” (“The Islander’s Treasure”). It was a truly unforgettable night!
The phrase “getting old, getting better” that Mr. Troussier shared with us was truly wonderful.
